THiRST TRAP OF THE WEEK: AURORA MATRIX

From runner up and fan favourite to competing on the first season of Canada’s Drag Race All Stars, to freshly crowned as our newest champion, it’s Canada’s Ultimate All Star, please welcome our reigning queen, it’s time for her dynasty, our THiRST TRAP OF THE WEEK - it’s Aurora Matrix!  Our reigning queen joins THiRSTY BOYS fresh off her historic victory to talk about what it actually feels like to reach the pinnacle of Drag Race, whether she’s satisfied with the crown, and what’s next now that she’s checked this goal off her list. And trust us… Aurora has BIG plans, including taking her drag to Asia. We get into the strategy behind Canada’s All Stars, including live voting, the “weakling” strategy, and whether losing huge competitors like Jackie Cox and Pythia early in the competition actually worked in Aurora’s favour. She also spills on Pythia’s fan-vote strategy, THAT diss track, and the fact that people are thirstier for those Twitter nud3s that we may have realized 👀 But there’s plenty happening outside the Werk Room. Aurora opens up about her drag daughter, her plans for the Powderpuff Girls with fellow winner Van Goth and Perla, and her relationship with her actor boyfriend, Matthew Finlan, who she may or may not have been thinking about while filming Drag Race All Stars. We talk entertainment power couples, why they haven’t hard-launched yet, and whether we could ever see them working together on screen. Plus: Drag Race Vegas, Hong Kong drag, which queens she thinks deserve another shot, who from her cast could conquer another reality show, and whether she’d ever do more reality TV! From fan favourite to reigning champion, this is Aurora Matrix in her winner era. 👑 STAY THiRSTY 💦 Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

THiRST TRAP OF THE WEEK: SPENCER WEST

Bottom’s Up! He’s an internationally recognized motivational speaker, author, and disability advocate. You may know him from his viral tiktoks or for summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, I’m absolutely honored to introduce our THiRST TRAP OF THE WEEK: Spencer West! You've probably seen Spencer inspiring millions online with his viral clips but this episode is about getting to know the person behind the platform. We dive into dating with a disability, meeting his boyfriend on Grindr, writing the perfect dating bio, navigating fetishization, and the biggest misconceptions people have about disabled relationships. Spencer also opens up about "inspiration p*rn," the pressure of constantly being called inspirational, responding to viral comments, and why some of the internet's most common questions still surprise him. Beyond dating, we have an honest conversation about accessibility in LGBTQ+ spaces, from why so many gay bars still aren't accessible to what he'd love to see change in Toronto's Gay Village. Spencer also shares the philosophy behind his content, his new book, Breaking Free, Stop Following Expectations and Start Following Yourself (Hay House, May 2026), his dreams beyond social media, and what success means to him today. Of course, it wouldn't be THiRSTY BOYS without a few games along the way. We tackle Drag Race, "Would You Rather," body image in the gay community, and finish with some surprisingly powerful reflections on the biggest lies we tell ourselves. Equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and eye-opening, this is one of our most meaningful conversations yet and one you'll be thinking about long after it ends. STAY THiRSTY 💦 Hosted on Acast. THiRST TRAP OF THE WEEK: ATHENA DION

From Miami to Mykonos, she has built a drag dynasty. Host, performer, drag mother, and now a queen of Season 18 of RuPaul's Drag Race, it's Athena Dion! Athena looks stunning and snatched as she opens up about creating the legendary House of Dion and reveals how she chooses her daughters, including fan favourites Morphine Love Dion and Plane Jane — two queens who couldn't be more different. We also get into what it was like watching both of them compete together on Drag Race before she ever stepped into the Werk Room herself. Then there's the history-making moment: Athena became part of the franchise's first grandmother-granddaughter lip sync. She shares how she found out the lip sync was coming, what was going through her mind in that emotional moment, and why Drag Race ultimately shattered her own glass ceiling. We also dive into dating, whether she'd ever hook up with a fan, balancing boy life and drag life, and why finding love took a back seat to chasing her biggest dream. Plus, Athena weighs in on toxic queer fandom, queer joy versus queer hate, local drag communities, and the importance of supporting queens beyond television. And because it's THiRSTY BOYS, things get chaotic: Miami versus Mykonos, who's the trade of the season, who'd survive a Dion Lalaparuza, and which queens are most likely to get arrested. Funny, thoughtful, and always unfiltered, this episode shows exactly why Athena Dion is the mother of one of drag's most iconic families. STAY THiRSTY Hosted on Acast.
